A one-year course which included both taught classes and a project, all related to the issue of climate change. Some of the classes I took were in science and some were in the school of management. My master project allowed me to return to Svalbard to collect background data about the two sexes of Calanus copepods. These species are crucial to food webs and males and females have very different survival strategies. Climate change could interfere with them, leading to further consequences.

A deep-dive into the ecology of three arrow worm species in the Arctic. I published three peer-reviewed research papers from this work. These provided novel data and knowledge on how these animals survive in a fragile environment. One paper presented the important finding that one species in omnivorous, instead of a strict carnivore as previously published by others.
